Equality

equality.jpgIf you feel that you have been discriminated against, treated unfairly or denied opportunities as a result of your age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or for any other reason, whether in the workplace or in any other area of your life, then The Community Programme can help you to locate the services and groups that can help and can provide facts and information regarding all equality and diversity related issues to help you to determine the right course of action for you.

This includes information on the law regarding equality and diversity in the workplace and in recruitment and selection practices, human rights and discrimination and equality legislation.

The Community Programme can also put you in touch with support groups in your area so that you can talk with and get help from others who have faced and dealt with discrimination or who have successfully championed equality, diversity and inclusiveness issues. Similarly, you can share your experiences on our free, confidential online forum.

If you need practical help and support or specialist advice, please act now and contact one of the organisations listed by The Community Programme.
