Employment

emplyment.jpgPaid employment is a vital aspect of most people’s lives, however when you are working you can sometimes be faced with difficult issues or problems that you do not always know how to manage, or you need help with specific questions regarding your rights and entitlements as an employee to help you decide the right course of action.

The Community Programme can help you to find the services and organisations that can help you with any and all of your employment questions and concerns, whether these are regarding rights at work, such as contracts of employment or rights of pay; handling problems at work, including grievances, disciplinary action, dismissals or employment tribunals; questions about time away from work, such as maternity or paternity leave, sickness and holiday entitlements; cases of workplace discrimination; advice on redundancy; or help with health and safety issues.

The Community Programme can also help you to locate support groups in your area so that you can talk with and get help from others in a similar situation.

If you need practical help and support or specialist advice on this issue, please act now and contact one of the organisations listed by The Community Programme.
