Rhondda Breast Friends

RBF is a registered charity organisation in a highly deprived area and its aim is to improve the quality of life of all the residents of the Rhondda Valleys and surrounding areas who are affected directly or indirectly by breast cancer. 

We hold regular bi-monthly meetings and groups for members to share experiences and gain access to advice and information from organisations and any other topics that interest them.  We invite guest speakers to our meetings ranging from Macmillan, Tenovus, Breast Cancer Care, Rhondda Cynon Taff Carers, Crossroads Cwm Taf, Hypnotherapists, Chiro Practitioners and various departments from the NHS etc.

Our members volunteer to help out at events and “man” our information stands and craft stalls, they also attend seminars and talk about their life-changing experiences with breast cancer and how RBF has helped them regain their dignity and sanity. 

The services that we provide help improve our members lives by giving them the opportunity and confidence to join our various classes and interacting with other members and the community.  We offer counselling, therapies, hypnotherapy, a craft and book club, coffee mornings, evening meetings, exercise and computer classes.
