The Liverpool ECHO is giving away £25,000 to clubs, schools, charities and not-for-profit organisations like ourselves in our local area. As a registered group on thier 2013 Wish List, we will recieve some of this money!!
The Aim..
The aim is to collect as many wish tokens as possible in order to gain more money. If you would like to help us the wish tokens are in the ECHO newspaper.. You can either drop of the tokens at our head office on Church Road, Tranmere or if necessary we can collect them of you.
Why it would be a great help..
We are hoping to put on a young persons talent competition for people aged 11-19 which would be fantastic for the community. We have done this before in the past and it has been a total success, Eleonore Charlotte was one of many to take part in our previous event ' Tomorrow's Talent' having won the competition Eleonore achieved so much - Having never performed in front of an audience and not even her parents back in January she has gone on to appear at this years Astral Coast, plus various other events throughout Wirral and Liverpool. Eleonore has just released her very own EP, which is available for download on Amazon and itunes!! We would love to give someone else this opportunity and experience so this is why the wish tokens mean so much to us, so please help as much as you can as we could be very grateful. A bit about us..
Involve Northwest are one of the remaining advice centres open everyday in Wirral providing advice on benefit and debt issues for those primarily struggling with illness/low incomes. We provide an employment scheme, neighbour mediation and youth activities - encouraging and showcasing young talent such as Tomorrows Talent final in March hosted by Pete Price.
