Stick 'n' Step transforms the lives of children with cerebral palsy.

 

We currently support 70 children and their families who travel from across the North West and North Wales to our Merseyside centre for free conductive education therapy. We were formed in 2002 by a group of parents of children with cerebral palsy. Since then we have provided more than 14,000 hours of free support to children with cerebral palsy and their families.

 

Advice

We can advise on a range of topics - including other support agencies available to you, specialist equipment, getting your Mobility allowance, help with Mersey tunnel tolls, fundraising and accessible local days out.

We have a range of books available to loan.  Just take a look at the range in the Parents' Room and help yourself.

Don't forget to bring it back when you've finished with it!

Parents' Room

It's not just for parents!  Any family member or friend who has brought a child along to Stick 'n' Step can pass their time in this room.  It was lovingly decorated by John Lewis, Liverpool ONE branch, and has plush soft furnishings to make it cosy and welcoming.  There's a flat screen TV, a bookcase of magazines and books, and a laptop and printer for you to use so you can play online, get up to date on your emails or check your bank balance!

Parents' Kitchen

We provide a modern kitchen, with free tea and coffee - just help yourself.  There's also a cooker, fridge and microwave so you can make yourself a snack or meal.
