Shaka Services

We are a specialist organisation providing advice, support and advocacy to BME people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. We offer this service in a range of areas such as housing, welfare, benefits, social work and social care, mental health and other associated health problems.  We provide counselling and emotional support.  We undertake family work.  We work alongside statutory agencies in a range of areas such as child protection, family support.  We do a lot of outreach in the community to inform them around HIV and the need to test and if necessary support in adherence to medication.

We also provide immigration advice and services, free to our clients and at a very reasonable fee to other people.

We also provide sexual health training, information and education particularly focussing on wour work with teenagers and young people within the community but also in partnership with youth clubs, colleges and universities.
